Club Permit Scheme
The Aston Martin Owners Club (Victoria) has been authorised by VicRoads to operate the Club Permit Scheme (CPS) for vehicles over 25 years old.
For more information on the scheme please also refer to the VicRoads web site VicRoads Club Permits.
The basic rules relating to new CPS registrations have recently changed, so it is important to be up to date.
In order to meet these new rules, the following requirements have been set by AMOC Vic to ensure we meet the necessary standards for registration:
- Applicants must be financial members of AMOC Vic.
- Cars on the CPS must be registered in the name of the member.
- Members can have non Aston Martin cars on the CPS.
- The initial vehicles application for the CPS must have attached a current Roadworthy Certificate from a registered body.
- It is the members responsibility to seek a signature from an authorised club signatory and to ensure they provide copies of all the application paperwork to the signatory.
- It is the members responsibility to advise the club signatory of the registration number assigned by VicRoads once registered on the CPS.
We recommend that you meet directly with on of the club signatories, rather than mailing your applications to avoid any change of the application going missing.
VicRoads requires the club to maintain a register of the vehicle including identifying photographs, to enable us to meet this requirement we need the owner to provide to the club the following photos (with registration plates fitted):
- Front
- Rear
- Each side
- Engine bay
- VIN if possible
- Chassis number if possible
- Engine number if possible
These should be emailed to [email protected] with a cover note identifying the owner once registration on the CPS is achieved.
